AN ARRAY IS A COLLECTION OF SIMILAR DATATYPE ELEMENTS(HOMOGENEOUS ELEMENTS) ARRANGED IN CONTINOUS MEMORY LOCATIONS.(ADJACENT MEMORY LOCATION).


AN ARRAY HAS A LOWER BOUND,UPPER BOUND AND A RANGE LOWER BOUND ALWAYS STARTS FROM ZERO, UPPER BOUND IS THE SIZE OF THE ARRAY MINUS 1.


AN ARRAY HAS AN INDEX VALUE(SUBSCRIPT VALUE) ASSOCIATED WITH IT. WHICH ALWAYS STARTS FROM THE LOWER BOUND AND ENDS AT THE UPPER BOUND. AN ARRAY CAN BE DEFINED AS : 1) int S[10];
                                         2) int i[20];
